Collards - Georgia OG
Georgia Collards (Brassica oleracea) is a heirloom variety, that is still widely popular in the south. Georgia Collards produce deep blue/green color leaves that really stand out in the garden.
Georgia Collards is a slow to bolt, non-heading type of collard that grows 2-3 feet. Leaves are tasty, tender, mild and juicy. Most people strip the leave portions off of the stems for a tastier collard green. It tolerates both heat and poor soil conditions.
